MEET THE TEAM
LOGAN BABCOCK
Team Lead
Logan is an Environmental Management and Protection major with a minor in Law and Society. She's from Northern California and has spent her life swimming in lakes and questioning how she can give back to the natural environment she grew up in. At Cal Poly, Logan is a member of the Green Campus team, is in her third year of involvement with CCARG, and her first year as the lead for the team. A fun fact about Logan is that she brews her own kombucha! Logan lives sustainably by using reusable produce bags grocery shopping and buying local!
ALENA ANDREWS
Alena Andrews is an Anthropology and Geography major who has been a member of CCARG since her first quarter at Cal Poly. She is a prominent member of the sustainability community and has presented at three different conferences with CCARG, including the This Way to Sustainability Conference hosted by Chico State and the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference. Alena has studied renewable energy in Iceland, fueling her passion to be globally educated and locally involved in sustainability initiatives. She lives sustainably by using beeswax wraps and reusable produce bags in support of ditching plastic, and encourages you all to do the same!
ELLE HARLOW
Elle is a third-year environmental management major with a minor in political science. She grew up in Sacramento, CA, and spent lots of time hiking, biking, and hammocking along the local American River. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, thrift-shopping, and hiking. Elle lives sustainably by using soap, shampoo, and conditioner in bar form rather than in plastic bottles!
OLIVIA WIEMANN
Olivia is a third-year Environmental Management and Protection major with a minor in Indigenous Studies and Natural Resources. She grew up in Northern New Mexico and the Bay Area of California. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, going to the beach, and camping. In the early mornings, you can find Olivia working at the local gym. Olivia lives sustainably by using reusable to-go ware and eating sustainably sourced food.
ANNIKA DEAN
Annika is a third year Math and Biology major. She hails from the luscious hills of Ogden, Utah where she basked in the wonders of nature through hiking, skiing, and biking. At Cal Poly she spends her time studying, working with CCARG, playing soccer, studying, and enjoying all that San Luis Obispo has to offer. She lives sustainably by "letting it mello".
JUSTIN CUNEO
Justin is a second year Environmental Management and Protection major who has been a part of CCARG since winter of his first year. He is interested in permaculture and energy efficient technologies. This summer he went on a trip to Ecuador where he learned about bamboo architecture and how to grow food with a focus on sustainability. He lives sustainably by biking or carpooling wherever he needs to go!
JACQUELINE HEWITT
Jacqueline is a third-year Environmental Management and Protection major and joined CCARG just recently during Spring quarter. She has a concentration in Water Management and Hydrology. She grew up along the coast in Santa Barbara and enjoys long walks on the beach with her dogs, hiking, or just about any activity outdoors. She lives sustainably by walking wherever she needs to go and using reusable to-go items.
